Medallion Shawl
Tykästyin Norah Gaughanin Medallion Shawliin heti VK:n talvinumeron ilmestyttyä. En kuitenkaan jostain syystä aloittanut sitä silloin. Kun sitten näin Margaux'n tekemän upean ilmestyksen, oli huivi pakko aloittaa.
I instantly fell in love with Norah Gaughan's Medallion Shawl when I flipped through the winter issue of VK. For some reason, I did not start it right away. When I saw Margaux's absolutely beautiful shawl, I had to start mine.
Tein omani kahdesta väristä. Kolmannes kuusikulmioista on ruskeita, loput terrakotan värisiä. Kulmiot yhdistävä virkkaus ja reunus on kokonaan terrakottaa. Lankana on villasilkkisekoitteiset Knitpicksin Gloss ja Regia Silk.
I knitted mine with two colors. One third of the hexagons are brown, the rest terracotta. The crocheted edges are also terracotta. The yarns are Knitpicks Gloss and Regia Silk.
Tästä tuli superkiva, tykkään!
