Päänlämmike - - Headwarmer
Bongasin kivan pannan Dipsy Doodlen blogissa ja pikaisesti neuloin tämän äidille. Äitini ei ole koskaan oikein pipoja käyttänyt ja minua kauhistuttaa, kun hän kulkee pää paljaana pakkasilla. Jospa tämä lämmittäisi edes korvia.
I saw this headband in Dipsy Doodle's blog and instantly wanted to knit it for my mom. My mom's never really been into hats or caps and it's terrible to see her outside in wintertime without a hat. Hopefully this headband will warm her ears if nothing else.
Mies on raksalla enkä saanut kunnollista kuvaa otetuksi, mutta tässä muutama epäonninen otos. Näistä näette myös syyn siihen, että pidän mielummin pipoja tai hattuja enkä pantoja: näytän panta päässä lähinnä Björn Borgilta. Tämä oli kuitenkin tosi hauska malli ja sopii äidilleni varmasti mainosti.
DH is building the house and I took about a hundred pictures of myself with the headband and they all look awful. In these pics, you can see the reason why I never wear headbands myself: I look more or less like Björn Borg. However, it was a fun knit and I love the pattern. The headband should be perfect for maman.

Onpa hyvän näköinen panta! Kiitos linkkivinkistä! Minä taas olen niitä, joille pipo ei sovi alkuunkaan. Pitää varmaan kokeillakin tämmöistä pantaa.
Oikein kivan näköinen! Taitaa olla minulle vähän vaikea toteutettava, mutta kenties ajan kanssa voisi yrittääkin:)

Wow! This beadband turned out absolutely amazing - I so love the color of the yarn you've been using for it! Fantastic work! And hey - I don't think you look like Björn Borg in it at all, LOL ;) In the contrary, it suits you perfectly fine!
